-winter photography

Plan on using your digital camera outdoors for winter photography? now take some tips about taking pics in winter :p
1-The first thing you need to consider when shooting outdoors in the winter (or at least, in snow conditions) is the temperature. Sure, you're all bundled up, but what about your camera? The batteries in your digital camera don't react well to the cold, it reduces their output. ...In addition it's worth considering whether you'll need a spare battery, as cold temperatures are liable to play havoc with your battery life. Keep your spare batteries next to something warm in your bag, a (well sealed!) flask of coffee, maybe?
2- And the final camera tip for shooting cold weather photos is for you to keep warm. Dress in layers. Wear good warm boots. Bring along a Thermos of hot soup. (Coffee and alcohol are counterproductive; they make you less able to maintain your body warmth!) And, if it's really cold, consider some supplementary heating devices, such as skiers use – plastic packets of chemicals that can warm the hands or feet when they are kneaded, or even battery heated insoles for your boots. You need thick gloves, but these are not great when it comes to pressing the small buttons on your camera. So consider gloves sold in backpacking stores that have fingertips or mittens that can be folded back so that you can momentarily use your bare fingers.
- if you plan to take spectacular winter landscape photographs, you will need to get yourself ready for the cold. As with dressing for any other winter outing, it is best to put on layers, as opposed to one bulky piece of clothing. You can always take off layers if the weather changes
3- For good, and reliable outdoor winter photography you need:
So be brave, dress warmly, get out there and shoot, the world of winter photography awaits you!
